Historical Background
Caersws is well known for its strong historical connections, there is evidence of the Roman occupation in and around Caersws and Moat Farm itself plays host to the remains of a Motte and Bailey Castle which dates from Norman times. When attending a workshop at the Moat how exciting would it be to simply cross the yard and see this exciting piece of real history at close quarters, right on the farmyard!
